Simple Sunday - Week two

For this weeks Simple Sunday video I made a baby card. It's a girl, so obviously I used a little pink. I also used the Pretties Kit, before this I had only used the half pearls. I have to say it turned out to be a really pretty card. I hope you like it!

Be sure to check back on Wednesday for the Color Comboball Challenge!

Color Comboball Challenge - Week One card

If you watched Wednesday's Color Comboball Challenge, then you know that the colors for the first challenge were So Saffron, Really Rust, and Sage Shadow.

For this card I used the Mojo Monday card sketch. Obviously you know what colors I used, and I also used clear embossing powder, gold brads, and Dress Up Ribbon Originals (retired). As for the stamps, I used the Circle Circus stamp set for the pattern on the Really Rust strips of cardstock, the sentiment is from Smarty Pants, and the flower is from Eastern Blooms. Color Comboball Challenge FAQ

In just a few moments I will be posting my very first Color Comboball Challenge video. For the sake of time, I won't go into too much detail about the color challenge in the video. Instead I will post more information here so that it can be referred back to in the future.

Color Comboball Challenge FAQ-

Q: What is the Color Comboball Challenge?
A: The Color Comboball Challenge is my color challenge that was inspired by Powerball. I hope you'll join me by linking to your design using the Mr. Linky tool.

Q: When will new Color Comboball Challenges be posted?
A: Wednesday's

Q: When will I post my design?
A: Saturday's

Q: What products can be used?
A: I will be using Stampin' Up! products 99% of the time, and I encourage you to do the same. Stampin' Up! products are excellent, especially their cardstock. However, it's not required. If you need to replenish your supplies, just click on the Shop Now button.

Q: What if I don't have a color that was drawn for the challenge?
A: Go ahead and use a similar color. You may want to click on the Shop Now button, so that you'll have the color the next time it's drawn.

Q: What's the Comboball?
A: The Comboball is a number between 1 and 5. The Comboball determines the number of colors drawn for the challenge.

Q: Can I add more colors to my project than just the challenge colors?
A: Yes... and no. On all challenges you're welcome to add one neutral color (i.e. Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Kraft, etc.) Of course you can add whatever colors you want to your design, it's not like I'm going to jump through your computer screen to tar and feather you :) However, sometime in the future I would like to give recognition (or even prizes) to my favorite cards, but I will only award those who stay true to the challenge. It's supposed to be challenging right?

I'm really excite to get this started, and I really hope I'll have a few people join me.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!
